Hey, I’m Adam Clark. Founder of Rhine Records, guitarist with 20 years of experience, and recording engineer with 15 years working in studios.
It all started in 2010 when my band actually won Battle of the Bands (still shocked) and got to record at Monastery Studios in Cincinnati with the legendary Matt Moermond behind the console (widespread panic). One session in that room and I was ruined for normal life. I knew studios were my future.

Not long after, I met a mutual friend in college who became Director of Bearcast Media and crucially, got keys to CCM’s studio. He'd invite me to engineer his sessions and we spent many nights in there, tracking until the sun came up, learning the craft through obsession....and a dangerous lack of sleep. Those days shaped my vision for one day having my own studio. Maybe not the Steinway Grand.
In 2017 I set up shop at John Street in Over The Rhine, practicing constantly and steadily building out my gear collection. Bringing in the Sony console in 2021 was a game-changer that completely elevated the sound we capture. The 3036 offers Class A circuitry with Transformers and high voltage rails along with aftermarket preamplifiers.

In 2023 I moved to Nashville and joined the team at Vintage King as a pro audio studio consultant. There I sold over a million dollars in gear to studios and artists around the planet. I've consulted in commercial and residential studio builds from the ground up along with doing hundreds of microphone and speaker demo's in the showroom. (huge gear nerd) Nashville quickly became home to me. I built friendships with producers, writers, students and audio nerds just like me. Check out this video I helped create for Lewitt Audio's Pure Tube microphone.

After a couple of years soaking up everything Nashville had to offer, I’m back in Cincinnati where it all started for me. I love this city’s scene. The energy is real.

I’m excited for everything ahead and can’t wait to help create the next generation of music.
