History:

  • The console was active in the Seattle recording scene since 1986 and made it's way to Cincinnati in late 2021. It was custom ordered by Paul Allen of Microsoft. Eventually it was donated to Shoreline Community college where it was used and maintained in their audio engineering program.

  • These boards were made famous during their release in 1984 when Sony merged with MCI and entered the Large Format Console Market. The 200 series preamp was first introduced in the Sony console and it can accept aftermarket drop in Preamps made by John Hardy, Avalon, API and Normaphone

  • MXP3036's were used at Disney & Pixar in the 90's and early 2000's to record feature films.  They are tracking and mixing workhorses and offer extremely low noise floor with high voltage rails.
